European men's volleyball championship in 1967
The men's volleyball championship in 1967 took place in Turkey from October 26th to November 8th . With the Federal Republic and the GDR, Germany provided two of the twenty participants. The games took place in Adana , Izmir , Ankara and Istanbul . The Soviet Union became European champions without defeat.

First there was a preliminary round in which the twenty participants were divided into four groups of five. The two best teams in each group played in the final group "everyone against everyone" for the title. The third and fourth place in the table played for positions nine to sixteen, the remaining teams for positions 17 to 20. For teams that had already met in the preliminary round, the results were included in the evaluation of the final round.
