West Indies cricket team in Pakistan in the 2017-18 season

The West Indies cricket team's tour to Pakistan in the 2017/18 season took place from April 1 to April 3, 2018. The international cricket tour was part of the 2017/18 international cricket season and included three Twenty20s .

prehistory

The West Indies previously contested the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2018 , Pakistan a tour in New Zealand . The last meeting of the two teams took place in the 2016/17 season in the West Indies . Before the tour, it was announced that the Pakistan Cricket Board would take over the salaries of the West Indian players and that they would receive a high allowance so that they could travel to Pakistan. It was the first international tour to take place in Karachi since the attack on Sri Lanka's cricket team in Lahore in 2009.
