Cély (also: Cély-en-Bière ) is a commune with 1,183 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Fontainebleau and the canton of Fontainebleau (until 2015: canton of Perthes ). The inhabitants are called Célysiens .

geography

Cély is located about 46 kilometers south-southeast of Paris and about 14 kilometers northwest of Fontainebleau . The Fontainebleau forest is to the east. The municipality is located in the Gâtinais français Regional Nature Park .

The municipality is surrounded by Perthes in the north, Fleury-en-Bière in the south and east, Courances in the south-west, Dannemois in the west and south-west, Soisy-sur-École in the west and north-west and Saint-Germain-sur-École in the north-west. The A 6 car route leads through the municipality .
