Incidents

  • On November 20, 1999, a truck and a car drove into the landed helicopter on the B 71 near Eimke.
  • At noon on January 20, 2003, the D-HLFB helicopter flew under a bridge on the Elbe Lateral Canal near Bienenbüttel, damaging the tail rotor. The Bo 105 crashed into the canal and the pilot and paramedic managed to swim to shore. The emergency doctor sank with the wreck in the ice-covered water and was only found dead towards evening.
