history

After an air rescue center (LRZ) was built at the district hospital in Perleberg in 2007 and 2008, the helicopter was transferred in May and the LRZ started work on June 3, 2008.

Rescue center

A Eurocopter EC 135 is currently used to fly around 1,000 missions per year from Perleberg . The LRZ has three pilots and eleven paramedics. Melanie von Allwörden, the only female ADAC rescue pilot in Germany, is part of the team.
