Operations are mainly flown in Saarland , but also in parts of Rhineland-Palatinate and Luxembourg . Use in France is also legally possible, but is not claimed by the responsible French authorities.

Incidents

So far there have been only a few incidents. These include, for example, an engine dismantling with the destruction of the second engine during the take-off process at a deployment site with the BMI machine and a flight into an overhead line when approaching an emergency location with the Bo 105 of the ADAC. On Sunday, April 2nd, 2006, the helicopter pilot decided to make an emergency landing at Saarbrücken Airport in Ensheim due to a one-sided engine failure . Furthermore, it came in 2008 to an incident, the in which fenestron - tail rotor of the EC-135 caught when used in the trees, so the pilot an emergency landing initiated.
