Until June 2006, planning was carried out by the Oder-Spree control center. In January 2010 the leased BK 117 was returned to the manufacturer and replaced by a Eurocopter EC 135 T2i . Two radial compressor turbines, each with 706 hp, accelerate the helicopter up to 250 km / h, which is 35 km / h faster than the previous model.
