The 2010/11 season was the seventh season of the women's regional soccer league as the third highest division. 61 teams played in five groups for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga or against relegation to the Association / Oberliga.
North
Last year's runner-up, Mellendorfer TV, was champion with a six-point lead over the newly promoted Eintracht Immenbeck. Holstein Kiel is relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga , which means that Kiel's second team has to relegate alongside SG Jesteburg / Bendestorf. The third team of Hamburger SV becomes the second team in the 2011/12 season. Werder Bremen II and Sportfreunde Wüsting-Altmoorhausen were promoted to the regional league .

SG Lütgendortmund, SG Essen-Schönebeck II and FC Sankt Augustin were relegated from the regional league. Borussia Bocholt , FSV Gütersloh 2009 II and 1. FC Köln II are promoted from the association leagues .

The relegation places occupied the SpVgg Rehweiler-Matzenbach and Blau-Weiß Niederlosheim, the SV Dirmingen withdrew for financial reasons. SV Furpach , Rot-Weiß Göcklingen and TuS Rodenbach rose from the association leagues .
