Football Association Cup 2009/10

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The participants of the 21 national associations of the DFB in the DFB-Pokal 2010/11 were determined via the football association cup 2009/10 . The winners of the association cups were entitled to participate in the first round of the DFB Cup. The three associations with the largest number of members, Bavaria, Lower Saxony and Westphalia, each also sent the losing finalists. Thus 24 amateur clubs qualified for the national cup competition via the association cups. Second teams from professional clubs ( first and second Bundesliga ) were not allowed to participate in the DFB Cup.
