Grand-Rivière Château is a French municipality with 628 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Jura in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Claude and the canton of Saint-Laurent-en-Grandvaux .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities Grande-Rivière and Château-des-Prés , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Grande-Rivière.
