coat of arms
The coat of arms of the community of Baltmannsweiler was awarded at the end of 1979 and combines the two coats of arms of the former communities of Baltmannsweiler and Hohengehren.
Blazon : "Under a silver (white) shield main in three staggered throughout Blue Mountains in gold (yellow) , including a blue plate , topped with a silver (white) strips Cross , appending below a blue hook ." | |
Foundation of the coat of arms: The three " Kaiserberge " ( Hohenstaufen , Rechberg and Stuifen ) were taken from the former coat of arms of Baltmannsweiler. The disc with hook comes from the former Hohengehren coat of arms and, depending on the interpretation, can be seen as a plow wheel with a plow hook or a symbolic ball of yarn with unwound thread. |
