List of members of the Bremen citizenship (14th electoral term)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 14th legislative period of the citizens of Bremen ran from 1995 to 1999. It was initiated by the election on May 14, 1995.

The SPD achieved the worst election result of all time in Bremen. Although it achieved a few tenths of a percentage point more than the CDU, this small difference was not reflected in the number of mandates. The work for Bremen and Bremerhaven (AFB) party, founded by dissatisfied former SPD members, immediately achieved 10.7%. Mayor Klaus Wedemeier resigned because of the poor election result. His successor Henning Scherf formed a grand coalition with the CDU.

The turnout was 68.6%.
The CDU MP Reinhard Metz was president of the citizenship .
