1On December 21, 2015, the election review court corrected the result of the vote in Bremerhaven due to errors in the counting of the ballot papers by volunteers - all pupils between 16 and 18 years old except for one election supervisor - and awarded an SPD seat to the AfD. The court confirmed the AfD's assessment that at least 110 ballot papers had been incorrectly assessed at the expense of the AfD. The party had thus overcome the 5% hurdle and got a fifth seat. The corrected distribution of mandates was: SPD: 29 seats and AfD: 5 seats. The State Court of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen revised this decision on September 13, 2016: The AfD came to 4.99% in Bremerhaven, the seat remained with the SPD.

MPs

The table contains the elected MPs according to the official final result, even if they have left or their mandate is suspended, as well as candidates who have moved up. The Bremerhaven deputies are only represented in the state parliament.

In two cases, the occupation of city citizenship differs from that of the state parliament, namely in the list of the Greens and in the list of the CDU. Kai-Lena Wargalla (Greens) and Detlef Scharf (CDU) belong to the city citizenship, but not to the state parliament. Sahhanim Görgü-Philipp (Greens) and Birgit Bergmann (elected from the CDU list) belong to the state parliament, but not to the city citizenship.

Since the AfD had too few MPs to form factions, it formed a parliamentary group . After three AfD MPs left the party while remaining in the group, it was renamed Bremer Bürgerliche Reformer (BBR) in mid-July 2015 . The three former AfD MPs were founding members of the Alliance for Progress and Awakening or joined it immediately after it was founded, which is why the name was changed to ALFA-Gruppe-Bremen at the end of July 2015 and when the party changed its name in November 2016 Liberal Conservative Reformers Group .
