List of Evangelical Augsburg congregations in Congress Poland
The list of Evangelical-Augsburg congregations in Congress Poland includes the Lutheran superintendencies and parishes in the Kingdom of Poland as of 1865. The spelling of the place names is the historical, customary at that time.
With the law of 8./20. In February 1849, all Evangelical Lutheran congregations in Congress Poland were subordinated to the Warsaw Consistory. This consistory consisted of a secular president and a clerical vice-president (= general superintendent ) as well as two clerical and two secular assessors. Prospective pastors of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland had to have studied in Dorpat or Helsinki , after which they passed the faculty and consistorial exams.
Superintendent of Warsaw
The Warsaw Superintendent was founded in 1828 by an imperial ukase. Superintendents were:
