NGC 5273 = IC 895 is a 11.5 may bright lenticular Seyfert galaxy (type 1) from the Hubble type S0 in the constellation hunting dogs and approximately 51 million light-years away from the Milky Way.
It was discovered on May 1, 1785 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "cB, pL, R, vgmbM".
