Opi is an Italian municipality in the province of L'Aquila in Abruzzo and has (as of December 31, 2019) 393 inhabitants. The municipality is located about 73.5 kilometers south-southeast of L'Aquila am Sangro in the Abruzzo, Latium and Molise National Park , belongs to the Comunità montana Alto Sangro e Altopiano delle Cinque Miglia and borders directly on the province of Frosinone ( Latium ). The municipality is a member of the association I borghi più belli d'Italia (The Most Beautiful Places in Italy) and borders directly on the province of Pescara .

The former Strada statale 83 Marsicana (now a regional road ) leads through the municipality from Cerchio to Scontrone , from which the former Strada Statale 509 di Forca d'Acero to Cassino goes off.
