Steve Riddick
Steve Riddick ( Steven Earl Riddick ; born September 18, 1951 in Newport News , Virginia ) is a former American sprinter .
As part of the US team in the 4 x 100 meter relay , he won gold at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal .
In 1977 he set a world record with the US relay at the Athletics World Cup in Düsseldorf with 38.03 seconds.
After his active career, he worked as a trainer, among others for Tim Montgomery and Marion Jones .
In 2008, he was sentenced to five years and three months in prison for bank fraud and millions in money laundering. His accomplice was Montgomery, and Jones was also involved.
