Bob Pebbles
Bob Kiesel (actually: Robert Allan Kiesel ; born August 30, 1911 in Sacramento , California , † August 6, 1993 in Boise , Idaho ) was an American sprinter and Olympic champion .
As a student at the University of California , Kiesel won the IC4A championships in 1934 over 100 and 200 meters and in 1932 over 220 yards .
At the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 1932 , he won the 4 x 100 meter relay together with Emmett Toppino , Hector Dyer and Frank Wykoff, the gold medal with the world record time of 40.0 s in front of the teams from Germany (silver) and Italy (bronze).
