Victor d'Arcy ( Victor Henry Augustus "Vic" d'Arcy ; born June 30, 1887 in Rotherhithe, Greater London , † March 12, 1961 in South Africa ) was a British athlete and Olympic champion .

At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, he took part in both the 100- and 200-meter run , but was eliminated in the semifinals.

In the 4 x 100 meter relay , however, he won the gold medal, along with teammates David Jacobs , Henry Macintosh and Willie Applegarth . The team of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland benefited in both the semifinals and the finals from substitution errors made by its fiercest competitors, the United States and Germany .

At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 , d'Arcy reached the quarter-finals over 100 meters and was eliminated over 200 meters in the preliminary run. In the 4 x 100 meter relay, he and his teammates reached fourth place.
