Henry Macintosh (born June 10, 1892 in Kelso , Scotland , † July 26, 1918 in Albert (Somme) , France ) was a British athlete and Olympic champion .

At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, he took part in both the 100-meter run and the 200-meter run , but was eliminated in the semifinals. In the 4 x 100 meter relay , however, he won the gold medal, along with his teammates David Jacobs , Victor d'Arcy and Willie Applegarth . The team of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland benefited in both the semifinals and the finals from substitution errors made by its fiercest competitors, the United States and Germany .

Henry Macintosh died at the age of 26 from an injury, which he introduced to the fighting in the First World War has contracted.
