Occupation:

During the recording on June 2, 1964, 17-year-old Ken Scott was responsible for the tape recorders. The tape recorders were in the corridor rather than in the control room, so Scott took instructions from George Martin over a public address system. According to Ken Scott, he understood Martin Home's instructions when recording When I Get Home , so he assumed the recordings had ended. Ken Scott turned off the tape machines and pulled on his jacket to go home. In the corridor he met George Martin who asked him if the tapes were ready for When I Get Home . Scott quickly turned around, switched the recorders back on, and pretended that there had been no misunderstanding.
