Aralskoje ( Russian Аральское , initially Minskoje, German  to Posselau ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad and belongs to the municipal self-government unit of the city district of Zelenogradsk in Zelenogradsk Raion .

The Posselau branch has been called Alexandrowka since 1947 and is located about two kilometers northeast of Aralskoye.

Geographical location

Aralskoje is located about 30 kilometers northwest of Kaliningrad (Königsberg) and about five kilometers southeast of the center of Svetlogorsk (Rauschen) on the municipal road 27K-422, a dismantled former section of the regional road 27A-013 (ex A 192 ). The place is bypassed by the four-lane federal road A 217, which takes up the traffic of the Primorskoje Kolzo (also A 217) with a junction in the immediate vicinity . Beyond the junction of the A 217 with the southwestern 27K-422 or the northeastern communal road 27K-159 to Pionerski (Neukuhren) the urban area of ​​Svetlogorsk with the district of Juschny (Alexwangen) begins .

history

After the occupation of northern East Prussia by the Soviet Union , the former East Prussian manor village Alexwangen was renamed Aralskoje in 1950 . At the same time the place was classified in the village soviet Romanowski selski sovet in Primorsk Raion . The local office in Posselau , two kilometers to the south, was also renamed Minskoye in 1950. Before 1976, on the one hand, the place Minskoye was connected to Aralskoye and on the other hand, the local branch Alexwangen was connected as Juschny to the city of Svetlogorsk . From 2005 to 2015 Aralskoye belonged to the rural municipality of Kovrovskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the city district of Zelenogradsk.
