Nadeschdino ( Russian Надеждино , German  Twergaiten ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Selenogradsk in Zelenogradsky District .

Geographical location

Nadeschdino is about eight kilometers southeast of Zelenogradsk (Cranz) on the municipal road 27K-401 from Chrabrowo (Powunden) to the municipal road 27K-211, where the place Karjernoje (Pomehnen) was near . There is no train connection.

history

The village of Twergaiten was founded in 1325. In 1874, the rural community Twetgaiten in the newly formed was District Powunden in district Königsberg i. Pr. Incorporated. On April 1, 1939, Twergaiten was incorporated into Powunden.

As a result of the Second World War , Twergaiten came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . The place received the Russian name "Nadeschdino" again in 1947 and was assigned at the same time to the village soviet Novoselski selski Sowet in Gurjewsk Rajon . Later the place came to the Muromski selski Sowet in Zelenogradsk Raion . From 2005 to 2015 Nadezhdino belonged to the rural municipality Kovrovskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the city district of Zelenogradsk.
