Listowoje ( Russian Листовое , German  Woydiethen ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Selenogradsk in Zelenogradsky District .

Geographical location

Listowoje is located 30 kilometers northwest of the oblast capital Kaliningrad (Königsberg) and about seven kilometers southwest of Svetlogorsk (Rauschen) on the municipal road 27K-101 from Klyukwennoje (Klycken) to Russkoje (Germau) . There is no train connection.

history

Founded in 1339 and until 1946 Woydiethen called village was in the newly built 1,874 District Cherry Appen (Russian Today: Druzhba) incorporated, which for Fischhausen circle in the administrative district of Konigsberg the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged. In 1910 Woydiethen had 81 inhabitants.

On September 30, 1928 Woydiethen, which at that time consisted of two large farms and a dairy, gave up its independence and merged with Weidehnen (today Russian: Schatrowo) and Kirschappen (Druschba) to form the new rural community Weidehnen. The Kirschappen district was renamed "Weidehnen district" a short time later and in 1939 joined the Samland district .

As a result of the war, Woydiethen came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia in 1945 . The place received the Russian name Listowoje in 1950 and was assigned to the village soviet Shatrowski selski Sowet in Primorsk Raion at the same time . From 2005 to 2015 Listowoje belonged to the rural municipality of Krasnotorovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the city district of Zelenogradsk.

The majority Protestant population of Woydiethens was incorporated into the parish of the parish church in Heiligenkreutz (today Russian: Krasnotorowka) until 1945 . It belonged to the parish of Fischhausen (Primorsk) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Listowoje is located in the catchment area of ​​the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) , the main church of the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
