Ossokino ( Russian Осокино , German  Panjes ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Selenogradsk in Zelenogradsky District .

Geographical location

Ossokino is 36 kilometers northwest of the city of Kaliningrad (Koenigsberg) directly on the Fischhausen – Groß Dirschkeim railway line (Russian: Primorsk - Donskoje ). The place can be reached via a spur road from the municipal road 27K-367 from Russkoje (Germau) on the regional road 27A-013 (ex A192 ) via Pokrowskoje (Sorgenau) to Jantarny (Palmnicken) .

history

The place called Panjes until 1946 consisted of only one large courtyard in 1945. The village was founded in 1819. Until 1928 it was part of the rural community Kirpehnen (today Russian: Powarowka), from 1928 the rural community Germau (Russkoje), to whose administrative district in the Fischhausen district , from 1939 to 1945 Samland district , in the Königsberg administrative district of the Prussian province of East Prussia it also belonged.

In 1945 Panjes came to the Soviet Union as a result of the war with northern East Prussia . In 1947 the place was given the Russian name Ossokino and was also assigned to the village soviet Yantarski selski Sowet in Primorsk Raion . Later the place came into the Powarowski selski Sowet . From 2005 to 2015 Orechowo belonged to the rural municipality of Krasnotorovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the city district of Zelenogradsk.
