The Colle dell'Assietta (German Assiettapass ) is a 2,472  m high alpine pass in the Cottian Alps in the Italian region of Piedmont . It separates the Susa Valley (Val di Susa) in the north from the Val Chisone in the south.

The approximately 35 kilometers long Assietta ridge road ( Strada dell'Assietta SP 173) runs over the pass, which begins not far from Colle delle Finestre and ends in Sestriere . The connection, which was originally created for military purposes , is considered to be extremely scenic. For the most part, however, it is only graveled and offers only a few alternative options, so that driving on it is only recommended for experienced drivers with off-road vehicles. A difficulty of SG 3–4 is given on the Denzel Alpine Road Scale . In July and August, the road is closed to motorized traffic on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is then particularly popular with mountain bikers.
