Bent Løfqvist

Bent Løfqvist-Hansen (born February 26, 1936 in Copenhagen ) is a former Danish football player . The attacker played since 1958 in the 2nd division at Boldklubben 1913 , a predecessor club of FC Fyn . In 1960 he was able to achieve a seventh place in the 1st division with the club after the promotion in the previous year . In the following season, the team took third place in the championship and thus qualified for the national championship competition 1961/62 ; in the preliminary round successes over Spora Luxembourg Løfqvist could achieve a total of seven hits. In the last sixteen they finally lost to the eventual winner Real Madrid . Løfqvist was together with Heinz Strehl ( 1. FC Nürnberg ), Alfredo Di Stéfano , Ferenc Puskás and Justo Tejada (all Real Madrid) top scorer of the national championship cup. On September 20, 1961, just a week after his five-pack in the second leg against Luxembourg, Løfqvist came to his only appearance in the national team : In the 1: 5 defeat against West Germany , he was on the field for 90 minutes. After 89 goals in 142 games for the Boldklubben in 1913, the Dane moved to the French second division FC Metz in 1962 and finally in 1966 to the Danish second division Odense BK ; with the club he rose in 1967 to the 1st division. After relegation the following year, Løfqvist ended his career in 1968.
