Bim Bam Bino was a German children - television series , produced and 16 January 1988 to 29 March 1998 in the German private television aired.

description

The main actor in the series was the mouse Bino, a snap-mouth doll played by the puppeteer Siegfried Böhmke . In 1993 the role was taken over by Albert Frisch . The series ran initially on Tele 5 (January 16, 1988 - December 31, 1992) and later on Kabelkanal or Kabel 1 (January 16, 1993 - March 29, 1998).

In addition to Bino, the cat Lucy was added. In addition, there were several human co-moderators who changed from time to time, such as Gundis Zámbó , Wolfgang Binder , Jürgen Blaschke , Sonja Zietlow and Alexa Hennig von Lange .

The program initially ran for one hour, during which Bino gave cooking tips for children with Gerda Aurich, for example, and did handicrafts with Aunt Menne. There were also numerous themed programs (for example about Dian Fossey's mountain gorillas on the occasion of the film Gorillas im Nebel , about hamsters etc.), handicraft shows and summer festivals and programs on many other topics. In addition to the moderators and usually a guest, many children were involved in the programs, who also helped to shape the programs to a large extent. The format was later expanded to several hours in which various trick series (for example Saber Rider ) were shown.

After the dissolution of the station Tele 5 on December 31, 1992, Bim Bam Bino was taken over by Kabelkanal / Kabel 1 unchanged from January 16, 1993, the studio environment was only massively changed in August 1993. In 2006, the program ran for 45 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays (excluding cartoons) on ProSiebenSat.1 Welt , a German-language pay-TV channel in the USA that cannot be received in Germany.
