Until the church is planted

Before 1800, the place Breitenbrunn was the seat of an upper and lower court and belonged to the rule of Mindelheim of the Electorate of Bavaria . In the area of ​​today's municipality of Breitenbrunn is also the former rule of Bedernau of the barons v. Castell . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .
