Dana Friedrich

Daniela "Dana" Friedrich (* 1976 ) is a German actress , voice actress and presenter .

Career

Dana Friedrich received her acting training at the Michael Chekhov Studio Berlin and with Sigrid Andersson. Since 1993 she has acted as a stage actress at various German theaters, including the Nordhausen Theater and the New Theater Halle / Saale.

Further career

From 1999 to 2003 she studied speech science and phonetics at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg . She then took speaking lessons with Katrin Fischer at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . In addition, she was lectured by Günther Wirth ( ZDF , ARD ), Susanne Haeberlein (Medienakademie Dortmund) and Prof. Christoph Hilger in the field of speaking .

At the beginning of her career, Friedrich mainly spoke image films and commercials. From September 2004 to January 2005 she worked as a newscaster for Radio Brocken . Later she also acted as station and promo voice for the radio stations Energy Nürnberg , Hit Radio N1 and Radio SAW . This was followed by engagements as voiceover for various TV magazines from ProSieben , Sat.1 , ZDF ( Terra X ) and RTL ( Mitten im Leben ). To this day she has been heard as a voice-over speaker in a number of documentaries, including Under Strangers' Blankets - In Search of the Best Sex in the World , Mistresses - The Secret Power of Women and Savonarola as well as in the Oscar-winning cinema - Documentation 20 Feet From Stardom .

Dana Friedrich lives and works in Berlin. Since 2016, Dana Friedrich has been the female station voice on the ZDF TV channel.

Friedrich dubbed other leading roles in the movies Paris at Any Price as the German voice of Shirley Bousquet as Emma and Sinister 2 as the voice of Shannyn Sossamon in the role of Courtney Collins as well as in the British series Strike Back and Episodes . In the US series Legends , Friedrich lent her voice to actress Kelly Overton in the role of Nina Brenner. Friedrich is also represented as a voice actress in the award-winning series The Newsroom and in The Garden of Words .

She is also the German standard voice of reality TV protagonist Kourtney Kardashian .
