Desges is a French municipality with 59 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Brioude and the canton Gorges de l'Allier-Gévaudan (until 2015 Pinols ).

Desges is located about 35 kilometers west-southwest of Le Puy-en-Velay on the Desges river of the same name and its Gourgueyre tributary . Neighboring communities of Desges are Pinols in the north and west, Tailhac in the north, Chazelles in the east, Venteuges in the south and south-east, La Besseyre-Saint-Mary in the south and Auvers in the south and south-west.
