Léotoing ( Occitan Lauton ) is a French municipality with 234 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Haute-Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It is located in the arrondissement of Brioude and in the canton of Sainte-Florine (until 2015 Blesle ).

Léotoing is about sixty kilometers northwest of Le Puy-en-Velay . Léotoing is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Gervazy in the north and north-west, Chambezon in the north, Lempdes-sur-Allagnon in the north-east, Saint-Géron in the east and south-east, Lorlanges in the south and south-east, Espalem in the south, Blesle in the south-west, Torsiac in the West as well as Apchat in the northwest.
