Grèzes is a French municipality with 198 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Haute-Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Brioude , to the community association Les Rives du Haut Allier and to the cantons of Gorges de l'Allier-Gévaudan (until 2015 Saugues ).
geography
Grèzes is about 45 kilometers west-southwest of Le Puy-en-Velay . The municipality is crossed by the Seuge River. Grèzes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saugues in the north and east, Esplantas-Vazeilles in the south-east, Chanaleilles in the south and Le Malzieu-Forain in the west and south-west.
