The tour of the English national cricket team to Zimbabwe in the 1996/97 season took place from December 15 to December 30, 1996. The international cricket tour was part of the 1996/97 international cricket season and included two tests and three ODIs . England won the ODI series 3-0, while the Test series 0-0 ended in a draw.
prehistory
Zimbabwe previously played a tour in Pakistan , for England it was the first tour of the season. For both teams it was the first tour against each other since Zimbabwe became a full member of the ICC .
