Hatting is a municipality with 1471 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in the Innsbruck-Land district in Tyrol . The community is located in the judicial district of Telfs .

geography

Hatting is located in the upper Inn Valley , about 18 kilometers west of Innsbruck between Zirl and Telfs .

The community consists of the cadastral community of Hatting.

Neighboring communities

history

In 1974 the community was annexed to the community of Inzing and separated from it again in 1993.

The ground plan of the pile village goes back to the old salt road from Kematen to Telfs.

First mentioned in a document in the 11th century, its basis goes back to the early Middle Ages. Located in the greater Innsbruck area, Hatting has experienced great settlement growth in recent decades.
