The men's 3000 meter obstacle course at the 1994 European Athletics Championships was held on August 9th and 12th, 1994 in the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital Helsinki .

In this competition there was an Italian double victory. The European champion was Alessandro Lambruschini , bronze medalist at the European Championships in 1990 and the World Championships in 1993 . The silver medal went to Angelo Carosi . The Belgian William Van Dijck came in third place.
