List of rocker films
The list of rocker films includes films that belong to the subgenre rocker film in exploitation film , as well as films in which rockers or bikers play a leading role. Only rockers or bikers in supporting roles, a single motorcycle in the film or something similar do not lead to inclusion in the list. There should also be a reference to the subculture. Similar looking characters (for example Reno Raines in the television series Renegade - Merciless Hunt ) are also not taken into account. In contrast, films are recorded in which bikers are used as stereotypical villains, for example in Inferno . Documentaries and TV series are shown in a separate list at the end.
Subgenre rocker film
The subgenre rocker film belongs to the exploitation film and experienced its peak between 1967 and 1973. Direct influences were the blockbusters Der Wilde (1954) and Easy Rider (1967), which are also the highlights of the genre. In most Exploitern the rockers are shown as negative, mostly as loud, alcohol, otherwise drug-addicted and sex-obsessed gang .
