It originated as a commune nouvelle with effect from 1 January 2016 by merging the former municipalities Le Teilleul (same name), Ferrières , Heussé , Husson and Sainte-Marie-du-Bois , in the new community on the status of a commune Déléguée have . The administrative headquarters are in Le Teilleul.
