Le Teilleul is a French commune with 1,683 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It is located in the canton of Le Mortainais .
It originated as a commune nouvelle with effect from 1 January 2016 by merging the former municipalities Le Teilleul (same name), Ferrières , Heussé , Husson and Sainte-Marie-du-Bois , in the new community on the status of a commune Déléguée have . The administrative headquarters are in Le Teilleul.

Le Teilleul is located in the south of the Manche department in the Pays de la Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel (region of the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel ), around 74 kilometers northeast of Rennes and 31 kilometers northeast of Fougères .
