Vabres ( Occitan is identical), a central French city and a municipality with 250 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Saint-Flour and the canton Neuvéglise (until 2015 Saint-Flour-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Vabrais .
