The Nordic Combined World Cup 2012/13 began on November 24, 2012 in Lillehammer and ended on March 16, 2013 in Oslo . The highlight of the season was the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 , which took place in Val di Fiemme from February 20 to March 3, 2013 .
The German Eric Frenzel won the overall World Cup for the first time in his career, making him the third German athlete to win this title, replacing last year's winner Jason Lamy Chappuis . He dominated especially in the second half of the season, after both the Norwegians and Lamy Chappuis had started the season more successfully.
Germany won the national ranking with a clear lead over Norway. In total, athletes from 13 nations were included in the ranking.
