Andhausen is a former municipality and a town in the municipality of Berg in the Weinfelden district of the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland .
The local community of Andhausen belonged to the former municipality of Berg. It merged on 1 January 1993 with the local church Mountain, in turn, under the Thurgau municipality reform 1995 Graltshausen , Moors and Guntershausen bei Birwinken the political community Berg TG merged .
history
The documentary mention from 1159 as Anninhusin and early medieval grave finds confirm the first settlement. The scattered village shared by the late Middle Ages to the fate of the village one kilometer west in the mountain to the court rule and parish belonged.
Arable and fruit growing as well as a tannery operated from 1873 to approx. 1980 shaped the appearance until the 1970s. A company in the semiconductor industry has existed since 1980 . An extensive zone of single-family houses has recently emerged between the former village center and the mountain.

Of the total of 204 inhabitants in Andhausen in 2018, 31 or 15.2% were foreign nationals. 114 (55.9%) were Protestant Reformed and 47 (23.0%) were Roman Catholic.
