Friltschen is a former municipality and a village in the municipality of Bussnang in the Weinfelden district of the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland .
The local community of Friltschen, formed in 1812, belonged to the municipal community of Bussnang until 1995 . On January 1, 1996 , the local community of Friltschen merged as part of the Thurgau community reform to form the political community of Bussnang.
geography
The local church Friltschen consisted of the off-roads Weinfelden - or Bürglen - Wil nearby village settlements Friltschen and vineyard as well as the hamlet of Wart.
history
Friltschen was first mentioned in a document in 865 as Fridolteshova . In the Middle Ages, the monasteries of St. Gallen and Kalchrain as well as the Tobel Commandery were wealthy here. The weir system north of Friltschen has not been explored. The whole of Friltschen and the majority of Weingarten belonged to the so-called high courts until 1798 and were therefore subject to the federal governor of Thurgau for high and low jurisdiction. Wart and the smaller part of Weingarten were part of the Bürglen lordship ( Lower Court Mettlen ). The church has always shared the fate of Bussnang.
Originally, grain was grown in three Zelgen and viticulture, in the 19th century the transition to cattle and dairy farming took place. From 1870 to 1920 Friltschen counted numerous home stickers. From 1923 to 1960 there was a special children's shoe factory, since 1965 Letrona AG, which is dedicated to the construction of transmitter masts and housings. In 2002 it employed 90 people in Friltschen and Rümlang .
