Aulnay is a French village with 98 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Châtellerault and the canton of Loudun (until 2015 canton of Moncontour ). The inhabitants are called Aulnois .

Aulnay is about 42 kilometers north-northwest of Poitiers . Aulnay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Angliers in the north, La Chaussée in the south and east, Saint-Clair in the southwest and Martaizé in the west.
