Béthisy-Saint-Pierre is located in the valley of the Automne river , on the southern edge of the Compiègne forest .
history
Béthisy Castle was a fortress from the first half of the 11th century. The French King Ludwig VI died here on August 1, 1137 . the fat one . The castle was built at the beginning of the 17th century on the orders of King Louis XIII. destroyed.
