Apremont is a French municipality with 660 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Senlis , the canton of Chantilly and the Aire Cantilienne municipality . The inhabitants call themselves Apremontois or Apremontoises .
Apremont is 50 kilometers north of Paris city center, between the cities of Creil , Senlis and Chantilly and is surrounded by the forest of Halatte (to the east) and the forest of Chantilly (to the west), which take up around half of the municipality's markings. The Creil military airfield is partly located in the municipality of Apremonts.
