Le Plessis-Belleville is a French municipality with 3408 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Senlis and the canton of Nanteuil-le-Haudouin .

Le Plessis-Belleville is on the border with the Seine-et-Marne department . Le Plessis-Belleville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montagny-Sainte-Félicité in the north, Silly-le-Long in the east, Saint-Pathus in the south-east, Lagny-le-Sec in the south, Eve in the west and south-west and Ermenonville in the north-west.
The National Route 2 runs through the municipality . Le Plessis-Belleville airfield is located on the border with Ermenonville.
history
As a fiefdom , Le Plessis-Belleville belongs to the lordship of Ermenonville. The Chancellor of the Exchequer of France, Claude Guénégaud, had a castle built in 1663. Of this, however, only a few remains are visible.
