Maysel is located about 28 kilometers west-northwest of Senlis on the Thérain River . Maysel is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cires-lès-Mello in the north and west, Mello in the north, Saint-Vaast-lès-Mello in the north-east, Cramoisy in the east, Saint-Leu-d'Esserent in the south and south-east and Blaincourt-lès- Précy to the south and south-west.
