Gouvieux is a French municipality with 9069 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . Its inhabitants are called Godviciens . Gouvieux shares the Chantilly-Gouvieux station with neighboring Chantilly , which opened in 1859 and is part of the TER Picardy network of the SNCF .
In Gouvieux is the Château des Fontaines , a property of the Rothschild family , which was later a Jesuit educational institution and is now used as a seminar center. The chapel on the property was designed by Albert Gleizes . The Château de Montvillargenne also Formerly the property of Rothschild, is now a four-star - hotel .
