The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Senlis and is part of the Communauté de communes Thelloise and the canton of Chantilly (until 2015: canton of Neuilly-en-Thelle ).

Crouy-en-Thelle is located in the Pays de Thelle , about 19 kilometers west of Senlis . Crouy-en-Thelle is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Ercuis in the north, Blaincourt-lès-Précy in the northeast, Précy-sur-Oise in the east, Boran-sur-Oise in the southeast, Morangles in the south and Neuilly-en-Thelle in the west and Northwest.
