Béthancourt-en-Valois is located about 22 kilometers east-northeast of Senlis and about 14 kilometers south-southeast of Compiègne on the Automne , which forms the northwestern municipal boundary. Béthancourt-en-Valois is surrounded by the neighboring communities Gilocourt in the north, Feigneux in the east and south-east, Séry-Magneval in the south and south-west and Orrouy in the west and north-west.
